Strategies for Daily Battles of Life

Strategies for the daily battles of life from the Bhagavad Gita contains subtle teachings in the Gita and the individual and inward battle of Kurukshetra.

Within our individual consciousness there are thousands of citizens, some are noble, but some are under the influence of maya/delusion.

The true races of people, in a spiritual sense, are not to color of their skin, but the different races are but two, those who are dedicated to matter and the things of this world and the people dedicated to God.

In fighting the daily battle of life, it is productive to work on your relationship with God and inner communion.

Where there is the thought of ego, there will be duality, and there is something between you and God. Dissolve the ego and you can realize that you and God are one.

Work with the upward moving and downward moving energies in the spine. Focus on the upward moving energy vs. being identified with the downward moving currents of energy. These movements depend on your thoughts.

Our birthright is to make our way back to our origin in divine consciousness. When the ego is transmuted, our consciousness becomes centered at the spiritual eye.

When you feel intolerant about a quality in someone else, it is a clue to something in yourself. It doesn’t mean that if you a pure and perfect, you can’t see darkness in others. You can see it more clearly, but you don’t condemn or judge it. You want to help them get out of it.

All the things Arjuna is dealing with in the Bhagavad Gita are psychological realities of human nature. When you read the Gita in this light it will give you tremendous fruit for meditation and spiritual growth.

Krishna tells Arjuna that there is no death. When a person dies in form, he gets born into a new form. Similarly, when you commit energy in a negative direction, you can instead, redirect your energy into a new quality you want to develop.
